Basket is difficult to insert or remove; it jams or scrapes against the housing.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before handling.

• Clean rails: Remove the basket and pan. Clean the side rails and bottom guides inside the cavity with a damp cloth to remove grease and crumbs.
• Inspect basket: Check for warping or bent edges. Replace if significantly deformed.
• Insert straight: Slide the basket in level and straight; do not force at an angle.

Warning: Forcing a jammed basket can damage the detection switch and rails.
