Possible Causes
Shorted NTC sensor, Melted sensor insulation touching chassis, Moisture inside sensor connector, Shorted traces on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and let it cool.
- Drying period: If the unit was recently washed or exposed to heavy steam, leave it unplugged in a dry, warm area for 24 hours to allow internal moisture to evaporate.
- Visual check: Inspect the cooking cavity for signs of melted plastic or burnt spots near the temperature probe area (if visible).
- Test again: After drying, plug in and attempt a short cycle. If E2 reappears immediately, the sensor or control board is likely shorted.
- Stop using: Do not continue to operate the unit with E2 present, as temperature control may be lost.
Warning: Replacing a shorted NTC or PCB requires internal access and should be done by a qualified technician.
