Possible Causes
Seized fan motor, Obstructed fan blades, Worn fan motor bearings, Faulty fan driver circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool.
- Check for foreign objects: Look through the top or rear grill for any loose foil, parchment, or food pieces stuck in the fan. Do not insert metal tools through the grill.
- Listen for fan noise: When you previously ran the unit, note if the fan was unusually loud, grinding, or not running at all. H04 often follows fan problems.
- Test briefly: Plug in and start a short cycle while listening closely. If the fan does not start or makes harsh noises, stop the unit immediately.
- Do not continue use: Running with a stalled fan can overheat the heater and electronics.
Warning: Accessing and replacing the fan motor requires opening the housing and working near mains wiring. If you are not trained, seek professional service.
