• Test the lid switch: With the unit unplugged, gently press the lid switch actuator (usually a small plastic pin or lever inside the top frame) with a non-metal tool and listen/feel for a click. If there is no click or it feels loose, the switch may be faulty.
• Check hinge alignment: Verify the lid sits evenly on the body and is not twisted. If the hinge is loose, tighten accessible screws (if provided) with the correct screwdriver.
• Reset the unit: Plug back in, close the lid firmly, and try a short cook cycle. If U10 persists, the lid switch assembly or wiring likely needs replacement.
