Possible Causes
Burned-out fan motor, Obstructed fan blades, Loose fan motor connector, Failed fan driver on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow to cool fully. The heater area can be extremely hot.
Steps:
- Obstruction check: Look through the heater guard for any foreign objects stuck in the fan. Remove debris carefully.
- Spin test: With power off, gently spin the fan. If it is stiff or seized, replace the fan motor assembly.
- Electrical test: Access the fan motor wiring and check for secure connections. Measure motor resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Board driver: If the motor is good but never receives voltage, the fan driver circuit on the main board is likely faulty and the board must be replaced.
Warning: Do not operate the air fryer if the fan is not working; this is a fire hazard.
