How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Drying: If the panel was recently cleaned, leave unplugged for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
- Ribbon cable: Open the front housing and reseat the ribbon cable between the UI board and main board.
- Inspect panel: Look for cracks or delamination of the touch overlay. Replace the control panel assembly if damaged.
- UI board replacement: If still unresponsive, replace the user interface PCB.
