Possible Causes

Faulty touch sensor PCB, Moisture under control panel, Loose ribbon cable, Cracked front panel or damaged touch overlay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug before removing the control panel.

Steps:

  • Drying: If the panel was recently cleaned, leave unplugged for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
  • Ribbon cable: Open the front housing and reseat the ribbon cable between the UI board and main board.
  • Inspect panel: Look for cracks or delamination of the touch overlay. Replace the control panel assembly if damaged.
  • UI board replacement: If still unresponsive, replace the user interface PCB.

Warning: Do not use sharp tools on the touch surface; this can cut traces and cause permanent failure.
