Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before inspecting internal switches.

Steps:

Check basket fit: Remove and reinsert the basket and pan firmly until you hear or feel a click. Ensure no food debris is blocking the rails or latch.
Inspect latch: Examine the front of the basket for broken plastic tabs that engage the internal switch. Replace the basket if the latch is damaged.
Switch access: Remove the front housing to access the basket detection switch (microswitch or magnetic reed switch). Verify that the actuator moves freely when the basket is inserted.
Continuity test: With a multimeter, test the switch for continuity when actuated. Replace the switch if it does not change state reliably.
Wiring check: Ensure the switch wires are intact and firmly connected to the main board.

Warning: Do not bypass the safety switch permanently; it is essential to prevent operation with the basket removed.

Display shows E11; basket detection or safety interlock error; unit refuses to start cooking.
