Drawer/basket is difficult to insert or remove; it jams or scrapes the housing.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before forcing the drawer.

Steps:

• Inspect rails: Remove the drawer and inspect side rails and bottom guides for bent metal or plastic deformation.
• Clean tracks: Remove crumbs and debris from the rails and bottom of the cavity.
• Check basket frame: Ensure the basket sits squarely in the drawer and that no tabs are bent.
• Adjust gently: Slightly bend any deformed metal guides back into alignment using pliers, taking care not to crack the housing.

Replacement: If the drawer or rails are severely warped, replace the fry basket and drawer pan assembly.
