Steps to resolve E7:

• Check basket seating: Remove the basket and pan, then reinsert firmly until you hear or feel a click. Ensure no food debris is blocking the rails or latch.
• Inspect latch mechanism: Examine the front latch area for broken plastic tabs or warped parts that may prevent the switch from being pressed.
• Access microswitch: Remove the front or side panel (depending on model) to locate the basket/door microswitch. Verify that the actuator moves freely when the basket is inserted.
• Test switch: Use a multimeter in continuity mode across the switch terminals. The switch should change from open to closed when actuated. If it does not, replace the switch.
• Secure wiring: Ensure the switch wires are firmly connected and not broken at the crimp terminals.
