How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before opening the housing.
Steps to address E9:
- Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 10 minutes, then reconnect and test. Transient glitches can sometimes clear.
- Inspect harness: Remove the front panel to access the cable linking the user interface PCB to the main control PCB. Disconnect and reconnect both ends several times to wipe oxidation from the contacts.
- Check for damage: Look for pinched or cut wires, especially where the harness passes through plastic guides.
- Board substitution: If wiring is intact and E9 persists, one of the boards is defective. Replace the user interface PCB first (often cheaper), then the main control PCB if necessary.
