Possible Causes
Failed fan motor, Disconnected fan wiring, Jammed fan blade, Faulty fan relay or driver on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool. Do not operate the unit without a functioning fan.
Steps to restore fan operation:
- Check for jam: Remove the basket and drawer. Look up at the fan guard and remove any visible obstructions.
- Access fan motor: Remove the top cover to expose the fan motor and blade. Try spinning the fan by hand; it should move freely.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan motor connector is firmly plugged into the control board. Check for broken or burned wires.
- Continuity test: With the unit unplugged, measure resistance across the fan motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Replace motor or board: Replace a defective fan motor assembly. If the motor is good but never receives power during operation, the control PCB or fan relay is likely faulty and should be replaced.
Warning: Running the heater without airflow can cause severe overheating and fire risk.
