• Inspect heat shields: Open the housing and verify that any metal heat shields around the heater and fan are properly installed and not bent away from their intended positions.
• Clean vents: Remove dust and grease from vents to improve cooling.
• Replace damaged insulation: If internal insulation or reflective foil is burned or missing, replace with manufacturer‑approved insulation materials.

Warning: Do not operate the air fryer inside cabinets or against walls; this traps heat and can damage surfaces.
