Possible Causes

Cabinet temperature sensor harness unplugged, Broken NTC sensor lead, Damaged wiring between sensor and control board, Failed control PCB sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Pro Breeze air fryer and allow it to cool completely before opening any panels. Never work on a live appliance.

Steps to check the E1 error:

  • Power reset: Unplug the air fryer for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in and try again. If E1 returns, continue.
  • Access the sensor: Remove the cooking basket and drawer. Turn the unit upside down on a soft surface. Remove the bottom screws to access the internal cavity. Locate the cabinet temperature sensor (NTC) near the heating element or exhaust area—usually a small metal probe or bead sensor on two thin wires.
  • Check the connector: Ensure the sensor plug is firmly seated on the main control PCB. Reseat the connector several times to clear oxidation.
  • Inspect wiring: Look for cut, pinched, or burned wires between the sensor and the board. Repair minor insulation damage with high‑temperature electrical tape; replace the harness if conductors are broken.
  • Test the sensor (if you have a multimeter): Disconnect the sensor from the board and measure resistance at room temperature. A typical NTC will read between 5–200 kΩ depending on design. If it reads open (OL) or 0 Ω, the sensor is defective.
  • Replace if faulty: If the sensor is open or physically damaged, replace it with a compatible Pro Breeze air fryer NTC temperature sensor. Route the new sensor along the original path and secure it away from moving parts and sharp edges.
  • Control board check: If the sensor and wiring are good but E1 persists, the main control PCB may have a failed sensor input and will need replacement by a qualified technician.

Warning: Do not bypass or short the sensor to clear the error; this can cause overheating and fire risk.
