Possible Causes

Burned out heating element, Loose or corroded heater terminals, Broken high‑temperature wiring to heater, Failed heater relay on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before accessing the heater area.

Steps to troubleshoot E8:

  • Visual inspection: Remove the basket and drawer. Look up at the heating element. Check for visible breaks, warping, or burn spots on the coil.
  • Access heater terminals: Remove the top or rear cover to reach the heater connections. Inspect for loose spade connectors, burned insulation, or broken wires.
  • Continuity test: With the unit unplugged, disconnect one heater terminal and measure resistance across the element. An infinite reading (OL) indicates an open heater that must be replaced.
  • Check wiring harness: Follow the high‑temperature wires from the heater to the control board or relay. Repair or replace any damaged sections using high‑temperature rated wire.
  • Relay check: Inspect the heater relay on the control PCB for burn marks or cracked solder joints. If the relay is visibly damaged or does not click when heating is commanded, the board may need replacement.
  • Replace heater: If the element is open or physically damaged, install a new Pro Breeze air fryer heating element. Ensure all screws and terminals are tight and that the element is correctly positioned.

Warning: Use only manufacturer‑approved heater assemblies. Incorrect wattage or mounting can cause overheating and fire.
