• 1. Clean rails and tracks: Remove the basket and drawer. Wipe the side rails and bottom support surfaces to remove grease and crumbs.
• 2. Inspect for warping: Check the drawer and basket for visible warping or bending. Replace if they do not sit squarely on a flat surface.
• 3. Check internal rails: Look inside the cavity for bent metal rails or obstructions. Gently straighten minor bends with pliers.
• 4. Examine latch: Inspect the latch mechanism at the front of the drawer and the mating part inside the unit. Replace the latch if cracked or deformed.
• 5. Test fit: Reinsert the drawer slowly, ensuring it slides smoothly and locks with a click.
