Possible Causes
Damaged touch panel, Loose keypad ribbon cable, Moisture under control panel, Faulty control PCB input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before working on the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If recently cleaned, allow the unit to dry for 24 hours to clear any moisture under the panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the touch area with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove grease.
- Open control panel: Remove screws and gently lift the panel to access the touch keypad PCB and ribbon cable.
- Reseat ribbon: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
- Inspect for damage: If the keypad PCB shows corrosion or cracks, replace the touch control panel assembly.
- Test: Reassemble and test each button. If some still fail, the control PCB may have a faulty input circuit.
