How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and allow to cool before opening.
- Check for obstructions: Look through the top guard for any food pieces or warped plastic touching the fan. Remove the basket and inspect from below if possible.
- Access fan assembly: Remove the rear/top cover to reach the fan and motor.
- Free the fan: Rotate the fan by hand. Remove any debris and ensure it spins freely. Tighten the fan nut if loose.
- Inspect wiring: Check the fan motor connector on the control PCB. Reseat it and repair any damaged wires.
- Test motor: Measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed fan motor that must be replaced.
- Control PCB: If the motor is good but never receives voltage during operation, the control PCB is likely faulty and should be replaced.
