Possible Causes
Failed relay or triac on control PCB, Broken common supply to fan and heater, Safety interlock stuck open, Internal wiring harness fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and cool before internal inspection.
- Check basket switch: Ensure the drawer is fully closed and the basket detection microswitch is functioning; a failed switch can inhibit outputs while the timer runs.
- Inspect wiring: Open the housing and check all connectors from the control PCB to the heater and fan.
- Listen for relay click: During operation, you should hear a relay click when heating starts. If not, the relay on the control PCB may be faulty.
- Test outputs (advanced): With extreme caution and appropriate tools, a technician can measure voltage at the heater and fan terminals during operation. Lack of voltage with a running timer indicates PCB failure.
- Replace PCB: If wiring and switches are good, replace the control PCB.
