Possible Causes
Loose basket microswitch, Worn latch not holding basket firmly, Poorly crimped switch terminals, Misaligned actuator tab
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before adjusting switches or latches.
- Check basket fit: Ensure the basket slides in smoothly and locks without excessive play.
- Inspect switch mounting: Tighten the screws holding the basket detection switch so it does not move when the basket is jostled.
- Secure wiring: Make sure switch wires are not pulling on the switch when the unit is moved.
- Replace worn parts: If the latch or switch actuator is worn, replace the basket or latch assembly and, if needed, the microswitch.
