Possible Causes

Weak or partially failed heating element, Mispositioned or faulty NTC temperature sensor, Circulation fan running slowly, Thermostat or control PCB miscalibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and cool before internal checks.

  • Verify load and settings: Avoid overfilling the basket and ensure correct temperature and time are selected.
  • Check fan operation: During a cycle, listen for strong airflow. If airflow is weak, inspect and clean the fan blades and grill. Replace the fan motor if it runs slowly or intermittently.
  • Inspect sensor position: Access the heater area and confirm the NTC sensor is correctly clipped near the airflow path, not bent away or touching the element directly.
  • Test heating element: Measure resistance and compare with specifications. A significantly higher resistance than normal can indicate a weakened element; replace if out of spec.
  • Calibrate or replace PCB: If hardware is good but temperature remains inaccurate, the control PCB may be misreading the sensor; replacement is typically required.
