Air fryer produces excessive smoke during normal cooking.

Safety first: If smoke is heavy, unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Do not open the door rapidly in front of your face.

Cleaning:

• Remove the basket and tray and clean thoroughly with warm soapy water.
• Once cool, wipe the heating element shield and surrounding area to remove grease splatter.
• Check and clean any grease channels or drip trays if your model has them.

Usage tips:

• Avoid overfilling the basket with very fatty foods.
• Use a lower temperature or shorter preheat time for high-fat items.
