Safety first: Unplug before inspecting switches.

Reinsert basket: Remove and firmly reinsert the basket until you hear or feel a click. Ensure nothing is blocking full insertion.
Inspect actuator: Check the drawer edge for the small plastic piece that presses the internal switch. Replace the drawer if this piece is broken.
Test microswitch: Open the housing, locate the safety microswitch, and test it with a multimeter while pressing the lever. Replace if it does not change state.
Adjust switch position: Slightly reposition the switch so that the drawer reliably actuates it when closed.

Warning: Do not bypass safety switches; they prevent operation with open or misaligned components.

Unit beeps repeatedly and will not start, even though the display appears normal.
