Possible Causes

Moisture on touch panel, Shorted keypad traces, Faulty buzzer driver on PCB, Stuck button

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: If beeping is continuous, unplug the unit to prevent annoyance and potential internal stress.

Steps to stop random beeping:

  • Dry the panel: Wipe the control panel dry and allow it to sit unplugged for several hours.
  • Clean surface: Remove grease and residue that may interfere with capacitive touch sensing.
  • Inspect keypad PCB: Open the bezel and check the touch control PCB for contamination or corrosion. Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Check buzzer circuit: On the main PCB, inspect the buzzer and its driver transistor for shorts.
  • Replace panel: If false touches persist, replace the touch control panel assembly.

Note: Some beeps at power-on or when pressing buttons are normal; continuous or random beeping is not.
