Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the control panel.

Steps to restore button function:

Dry the panel: If recently cleaned, allow the unit to sit unplugged for several hours to dry out any moisture.
Clean surface: Wipe the panel with a dry microfiber cloth to remove grease that can affect touch sensitivity.
Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the bezel and check the flat cable between the touch control panel and main PCB. Reseat and lock it in place.
Test individual keys: With the unit reassembled, test each button. If entire sections are dead, the panel PCB is likely faulty.
Replace panel: Install a new SilverCrest touch control panel assembly compatible with your model.

Note: Avoid pressing the panel with excessive force; it is designed for light touch only.

Buttons or touch areas on the control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.
