Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before inspecting the power components. Do not open the unit if you are not comfortable working around mains voltage.

Steps to address E8:

• Check outlet and circuit: Plug the air fryer into a different known-good outlet, preferably on a different circuit. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.
• Inspect power cord: Examine the mains power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, replace the cord assembly.
• Check mains connector: Open the housing to access the internal mains connector and power supply PCB. Ensure all screw terminals and spade connectors are tight.
• Visual inspection of power board: Look for bulging capacitors, burnt resistors, or cracked solder joints on the power supply section of the main PCB.
• Replace power board: If visible damage is present or E8 persists despite a stable outlet and good cord, replace the main control PCB / power supply module as a unit.

Warning: The power board contains high-voltage components that can retain charge. Capacitors should be discharged by a qualified person before handling.
