Possible Causes
Internal control PCB fault, Stuck button on touch panel, Moisture on keypad, Power-on self-test failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning or opening the control area.
Steps to address generic Err:
- Power cycle: Unplug for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect. Observe if the error clears.
- Clean the control panel: Wipe the touch panel with a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Ensure no liquid seeps into the edges.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually several times. If one feels stuck or unresponsive, the touch control PCB may be faulty.
- Internal inspection: Remove the front bezel to inspect the control PCB for visible damage or corrosion. Reseat all connectors.
- Replace control assembly: If Err persists and no specific code is given, replace the touch control panel and, if necessary, the main control PCB.
Warning: Do not spray cleaners directly onto the control panel; always apply to a cloth first to avoid moisture ingress.
