High temperature lockout / residual heat protection
Display shows H1 or "HOT" and the unit refuses to start a new cycle immediately after finishing one.

Possible Causes
Normal residual heat after cooking, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high, Blocked cooling airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to force the unit to run while it indicates high temperature; internal parts are hot.
Steps to handle H1/HOT:
- Allow cooling time: Open the basket drawer slightly and let the unit sit powered off for 10–20 minutes to cool down naturally.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure the air fryer has adequate space around it and is not placed under low cabinets that trap heat.
- Clean vents and interior: Remove grease and dust from vents and the interior cavity. Grease buildup can retain heat and slow cooling.
- Sensor check: If H1 appears even when the unit is cold, inspect and test the NTC temperature sensor as described in the E1/E3 procedures. Replace if out of range.
Note: A brief H1/HOT indication immediately after cooking is normal behavior and not a fault unless it persists for an unusually long time.
