How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the unit.
Steps:
- 1. Confirm basket position: Remove and firmly reinsert the basket/drawer. Ensure it is fully seated and latched.
- 2. Try different modes: Select a different preset and press Start. If none start, the issue is likely not program-specific.
- 3. Listen for relay click: When pressing Start, listen for a faint click from inside. No click may indicate the control board is not sending a start signal.
- 4. Check basket switch: Access the basket detection microswitch from the base/front. Test continuity while inserting/removing the drawer. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
- 5. Inspect UI ribbon cable: Open the top/front housing and reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and main PCB.
- 6. If still no start: The Start button contact or microcontroller on the UI board may be defective, requiring replacement of the user interface or main control PCB.
