Possible Causes
Overheating thermal cut-out opening, Loose mains connection expanding with heat, Failing power cord, Overloaded circuit causing voltage drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before inspection.
Steps:
- 1. Ventilation: Ensure the air fryer has adequate clearance and is not under low cabinets trapping heat.
- 2. Check household circuit: Avoid running multiple high‑wattage appliances on the same circuit.
- 3. Inspect cord and plug: Look for heat discoloration or looseness at the plug. Replace the cord if damaged.
- 4. Internal connections: Remove the base cover and tighten all screw terminals and check spade connectors for looseness.
- 5. Thermal cut-out: Locate the thermal cut-out device. If it is cycling open due to overheating, clean the heater area and fan, and replace the cut-out if it has weakened.
