Possible Causes

Partially failed dual‑coil heating element, Low mains voltage at outlet, High resistance at heater connector, NTC sensor misreading temperature and limiting power

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug before opening the unit. Allow it to cool.

  • Check mains supply: Test the outlet with another high‑power appliance (e.g., kettle). If that appliance also seems weak, have an electrician check the circuit.
  • Clean heater area: Heavy grease on the element and fan can reduce heat transfer. Clean the heater guard and surrounding area with a non‑abrasive sponge and mild detergent.
  • Inspect connectors: Access the heater terminals and check for signs of overheating or corrosion. High‑resistance joints can reduce power. Replace any discolored connectors.
  • Sensor check: Ensure the NTC sensor is firmly attached to the cavity wall and not hanging in a cooler airflow path, which can cause premature cut‑back of power.

If performance remains poor, the heating element may be partially failed and should be replaced.
