Possible Causes
Burnt‑out heating element, Loose heater spade connector, Blown thermal fuse in heater line, Broken heater wire at crimp terminal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely before opening the housing.
- Confirm lack of heat: Run the unit for 5 minutes at maximum temperature with an empty basket. Carefully feel the exhaust air; if it is not hot, the heater is not energizing.
- Access heater assembly: Remove the outer cover to expose the heating element and its wiring.
- Inspect connections: Check both ends of the element for loose or burnt connectors. Tighten or replace any discolored or melted spade terminals using high‑temperature connectors.
- Test element and fuse: Disconnect one heater lead and measure resistance across the element. An open reading indicates a failed element. Locate any in‑line thermal fuse and test for continuity; replace if open.
Replace the heating element assembly if it is open or visibly damaged. Do not bypass the thermal fuse.
