Possible Causes

Failed fan motor, Disconnected fan wiring, Obstruction preventing fan rotation, Faulty fan driver circuit on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool. The heater area can be extremely hot.

  • Confirm symptom: Start a short cycle and listen closely. If you hear no fan noise but feel intense heat at the top, stop the cycle immediately.
  • Check for obstructions: Inspect the fan through the guard for stuck food or foil. Remove any obstruction.
  • Access fan motor: Remove the top cover to reach the fan and motor. Try spinning the fan by hand; if seized, replace the motor.
  • Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan motor connector is firmly plugged into the main PCB and that wires are not burnt or broken.

If the fan motor tests good but does not receive voltage during operation, the main PCB fan driver is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
