Air fryer trips the household circuit breaker or GFCI when turned on.

Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset the breaker. Unplug the air fryer immediately.

Checks:

• Inspect the power cord for cuts or crushed areas. Replace if damaged.
• Allow the unit to dry for 24 hours if it was recently cleaned with excessive water or exposed to spills.

Internal diagnostics (advanced):

• With the unit unplugged, remove the housing and inspect for signs of arcing, burn marks, or melted insulation.
• Test the heating element and fan motor for resistance between each terminal and the metal chassis. A low resistance indicates a ground fault.
• Inspect the main control board for burned components or carbon tracking.
