Safety first: Ensure the unit is unplugged before any inspection.

• Check outlet and breaker: Test the wall socket with another appliance and verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.
• Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. Gently wiggle the cord at the plug and at the entry to the fryer while plugged in (if safe) to see if power flickers; if so, replace the cord.
• Internal fuse (advanced):
  • Remove the outer housing to access the main PCB.
  • Locate the small glass or ceramic fuse near the power input.
  • Check continuity; if blown, replace with the same type and rating only.
• Further diagnosis: If the fuse blows again immediately, there is a short in the power supply or heater circuit that requires professional repair.
