  • Look up toward the fan guard; use a flashlight to check for stuck food pieces, foil, or warped plastic touching the fan.
  • Gently dislodge debris with a wooden stick (never metal) while the unit is unplugged.
• Manual spin test: If accessible, gently spin the fan blades by hand (with power disconnected). They should rotate freely without scraping.
• Motor replacement: If the fan is stiff, noisy, or has excessive play, the fan motor assembly should be replaced. This typically involves removing the top cover, fan guard, and fan blade, then unbolting the motor.
• PCB fault: If the fan spins freely but never runs, the motor or driver circuit on the PCB may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
