Possible Causes
Basket not detected by microswitch, Overtemperature lockout, Internal fault on control PCB, Door latch not engaging sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting mechanical parts.
- Reinsert basket: Remove and firmly reinsert the basket and drawer. Ensure there is no food or foil obstructing full closure.
- Cool down: If the unit was used heavily, allow it to cool for 20–30 minutes, then try again. Some models lock out operation when overheated.
- Check latch and switch: Inspect the drawer latch and the internal microswitch actuator. Replace any broken plastic tabs and test the switch for proper operation.
- Control board issue: If beeping persists with a correctly seated basket and normal temperature, the control PCB may be detecting an internal fault and should be evaluated by a technician.
