How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting the fan. Do not insert tools into the fan while powered.

Identify noise source: Run the unit briefly and listen to locate the noise (top, rear, or side). Then unplug and open the housing near that area.
Check for debris: Inspect the fan blades and surrounding shroud for loose screws, food pieces, or other objects. Remove any obstructions.
Tighten fan blade: If the fan blade is mounted on a shaft with a nut or screw, ensure it is tight. A loose blade can rattle and cause imbalance.
Straighten or replace fan: If blades are bent and scraping the housing, carefully straighten them or replace the fan wheel if damage is severe.
Motor bearing wear: If noise persists and feels like grinding from inside the motor, replace the fan motor assembly.
