Display shows E3 and the air fryer stops heating or will not start the cooking cycle.

Safety first: Unplug the Tower air fryer and allow it to cool completely before inspection. Surfaces and internal parts may be very hot.

• Check ventilation: Ensure the air fryer is placed on a hard, flat surface with at least 10 cm clearance around all sides and above. Clear any obstructions from the rear and side vents.
• Clean air paths: Remove the basket and drawer. Inspect the top and rear vents for grease buildup or food debris. Clean with a soft brush and dry cloth. Do not spray water into vents.
• Verify fan operation: Start a short cook cycle and listen for the internal fan. If the fan does not run, unplug the unit and inspect the fan motor and wiring for damage or obstruction (e.g., loose insulation, foreign objects).
• Check thermal cut-out (advanced): With the unit unplugged and covers removed, locate the thermal fuse or thermal cut-out mounted near the heater. Test continuity with a multimeter. An open reading indicates it has blown and must be replaced with the exact same rating.
• Reset and test: After cleaning and ensuring proper airflow, reassemble, plug in, and test. If E3 persists and the fan and thermal devices are good, the control PCB may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
