Exterior of the air fryer becomes excessively hot to touch during use.

Safety first: Avoid touching hot surfaces. Unplug and allow the unit to cool before opening.

• Check placement: Ensure the air fryer is not placed against walls or under cabinets that can reflect heat back onto the casing.
• Clean vents: Remove dust and grease from all vents to improve cooling.
• Inspect heat shields: Open the housing and look for metal heat shields around the heater and fan area. Ensure they are intact and properly mounted.
• Replace damaged shields: If heat shields are missing, warped, or detached, replace or remount them securely.
• Discontinue use if casing deforms: If the outer plastic casing shows signs of melting or warping, stop using the appliance and contact Tower support.
