Possible Causes
Failed relay or triac controlling heater and fan, Broken PCB trace to outputs, Firmware fault, Loose output connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before opening.
- Check basket switch: Ensure the basket is fully inserted and the safety switch is engaged. Some models will show the timer but not run outputs if the drawer is not detected.
- Inspect output connectors: Open the housing and verify that the connectors to the heater and fan are firmly attached to the control PCB.
- Listen for relay click: During a brief powered test, listen for a click from the relay when starting a program. No click may indicate a failed relay or control signal.
- Board replacement: If the PCB is not energizing the outputs despite correct inputs and wiring, the control PCB is defective and should be replaced as a unit.
