Air fryer makes a high-pitched squealing noise when running.

Safety: Unplug and cool the unit before working near the fan.

• Access the fan motor:
  • Remove the top/rear cover to expose the fan and motor.
• Clean dust:
  • Use compressed air or a soft brush to remove dust from the motor vents and shaft area.
• Check alignment:
  • Ensure the fan blade is not rubbing against the shroud; adjust position if necessary.
• Lubrication (if motor design allows):
  • Some motors have small oil ports; apply a drop of high-temperature light machine oil to the shaft.
  • If the motor is sealed, do not attempt to open it; replacement is preferred.
• Replace motor: If squealing persists, replace the convection fan motor assembly.
