Display shows E3 and the air fryer stops heating during operation.

Safety: Unplug the unit and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Do not touch internal metal parts while hot.

• Check ventilation:
  • Ensure the air fryer is placed on a hard, flat surface with at least 4 inches (10 cm) clearance around all sides and top.
  • Inspect rear and bottom vents for dust, grease, or obstructions; clean with a soft brush and vacuum.
• Clean interior:
  • Remove basket and pan; wash thoroughly to remove grease.
  • Wipe the interior cavity and heater guard with a damp cloth (unit unplugged) to remove baked-on grease that can trap heat.
• Reset and test: After cleaning and cooling, plug in and run at a low temperature (e.g., 160°C / 320°F) for 5–10 minutes to see if E3 reappears.
• Inspect high-limit thermostat (advanced):
  • Open the housing to access the heater assembly.
  • Locate the high-limit thermostat or thermal cut-out mounted near the heating element.
  • Check for signs of overheating or discoloration.
  • Test continuity with a multimeter; an open thermostat that does not reset must be replaced.
• Control board check: If the thermostat is good and airflow is clear but E3 persists, the main control PCB relay may be misreading temperature or stuck. Replacement of the control board is recommended.
