Possible Causes

Stuck touch key on control panel, Damaged rotary encoder (if equipped), Contaminated keypad contacts, Faulty keypad matrix on touch panel PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working on the control panel.

  • Clean touch surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry. Sticky residue can cause false touches.
  • Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to feel for proper travel. If any feel stuck, gently work them free.
  • Inspect encoder (if present): If your Ultima Cosa model uses a knob, remove the knob and check for debris. Clean and reseat.
  • Panel replacement: If F2 persists and specific keys do not respond or are always active, replace the touch control panel or keypad PCB assembly.

After replacement, reassemble carefully to avoid pinching the ribbon cable.
