Loud rattling or grinding noise during operation from the top of the unit.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool before accessing the fan.

• Inspect for debris: Remove the basket and look up toward the fan. Use a flashlight to check for loose screws, food pieces, or foil contacting the blade. Remove any foreign objects with non-metal tools.
• Check blade tightness: Access the fan from the rear/top and verify the center nut or screw holding the blade is tight. Tighten carefully if loose.
• Straighten shroud: If the metal or plastic shroud is bent and touching the blade, gently bend it back to provide clearance all around.
• Replace motor: If noise persists and the motor feels rough when spun by hand, replace the convection fan motor.
