• Check rails: Look at the internal metal or plastic rails that guide the basket. Gently bend metal rails back into alignment using light pressure. Do not force plastic rails; they may crack.
• Test insertion: Slide the empty basket in and out several times to confirm smooth movement. If it still binds severely, replace the basket and/or inner housing components.

Tip: Avoid washing the basket in extremely hot dishwasher cycles if the manual advises hand washing; excessive heat can warp some components.
