Safety: Unplug the unit before internal checks.

Steps to get the unit to start:

Confirm sequence: Ensure you are pressing the start button after setting time/temperature and that the basket is fully inserted.
Check door/basket switch: Listen for a click when inserting the basket. If no click, inspect and test the door/basket microswitch and replace if faulty.
Panel test: Press the start button firmly several times. If it feels mushy or inconsistent, the touch panel may be defective and should be replaced.
Board replacement: If switches and panel are good, the main control board may not be energizing the heater and fan relays; replace the board.

Note: Some models require selecting a preset before pressing start; verify with the user manual.

Buttons beep but the air fryer will not start cooking; timer and temperature can be set but heater and fan never turn on.
