Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on control board, Faulty power cord, Failed main control board, Loose mains connector inside cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before any disassembly. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
- Step 1 – Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm power is present.
- Step 2 – Inspect power cord: Look for visible damage. Gently wiggle the cord at the plug and at the entry to the air fryer while plugged in; if the unit flickers, the cord or internal connector is suspect. Unplug before proceeding.
- Step 3 – Access internal fuse: Remove the rear or bottom cover to locate the line fuse on or near the main control board. Test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
- Step 4 – Check mains connector: Ensure the cord’s internal connector is firmly attached to the control board or terminal block.
- Step 5 – Replace board: If the fuse and cord are good but the unit remains dead, replace the main control board.
Warning: Never bypass the line fuse. It protects against fire in case of internal faults.
