Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and do not repeatedly reset the breaker without finding the cause.

Step 1 – Dry the unit: If the air fryer was recently cleaned with excessive water or used under a cabinet with heavy steam, let it dry unplugged for 24 hours.
Step 2 – Inspect cord and plug: Replace the power cord set if there are any cuts or burn marks.
Step 3 – Check internal wiring: Remove the cover and inspect for wires pinched against metal, melted insulation, or signs of arcing.
Step 4 – Test components to ground: With a multimeter, check resistance from the heater terminals and fan motor leads to the metal chassis. A low resistance indicates a ground fault; replace the faulty heating element assembly or fan motor.

Warning: Ground faults are serious safety issues. If you are not experienced with electrical testing, contact a qualified technician.
