Drawer/basket will not fully close or is difficult to insert.

Safety first: Ensure the unit is cool before working around the drawer area.

• Step 1 – Remove and inspect: Take out the basket and drawer. Inspect the side rails and bottom for stuck food or grease buildup.
• Step 2 – Clean rails: Clean the rails and mating surfaces with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive pad. Dry completely.
• Step 3 – Check for warping: Place the drawer on a flat surface to see if it rocks. If significantly warped, replace the drawer/basket assembly.
• Step 4 – Inspect cabinet rails: Look inside the cabinet for bent metal or plastic guides. Gently straighten minor bends.

Warning: Do not force the drawer closed; this can break the latch and door switch actuator.
