Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before working on the basket area.

Cleaning and inspection:

• Remove the basket and drawer. Clean the side rails and bottom support surfaces thoroughly.
• Inspect the basket and drawer for warping or bent metal; replace if significantly deformed.
• Check the internal rails for bending; gently straighten if minor, or replace the inner cavity liner if severely damaged.

Latch:

• Inspect the latch mechanism for broken plastic or misalignment. Replace the latch or basket assembly if parts are broken.
